Carbon Fiber Based Reusable Patient Warming System

Medwarm Istanbul had developed Reusable Patient Warming system with temperature control for maintaining patients Body temperature during Intraoperative and recovery applicatons. Carbon fiber patient warming system are safe as just works on 24V AC, and has active temperature feedback system to regulate the temperature of warming device to prevent burns during long usage.

Carbon fiber technology was developed by NASA for Astronauts to keep their body temperature in regulation in outer space. Depending on applications, Medwarm had developed modular control units which can connect One / Two sections to keep normothermia of patients.

SALIENT FEATURES

Control unit comes in one section attachment or two section attachment as per end user applications.
The control unit of the mattress with blanket can be set between 30 to 40°C temperatures with accuracy of 0.1°C.
Alarm and safety system is inbuilt.
Carbon fiber material are X-rays translucent.
It has low voltage and there is no risk of electric shock.
The mattress can reach to 37 °C in 7-10 minutes.
Carbon fiber Mattress or blankets are covered with very tough Polyurethane material and they can be disinfected with disinfectant easily. The covers can be hand washed if required.
The main advantage is that the system is reusable and no recurring cost of air warming blankets / water circulation mattress. Also, the temperature regulation sensors on the mattress/ blankets prevents from burns.
Depending on applications, Different sizes of mattresses / blankets available.
Medwarm PWS is ISO and CE certified for patient safety.
Battery operated control unit is also available mainly used for Transport Ambulances.
